A local council in the UK is seeking a Major Projects Manager to oversee a £0.5 billion regeneration program. The role includes managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with various stakeholders. As the Major Projects Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious £0.5billion programme of large-scale regeneration projects from early-stage option assessment through planning, design and land assembly to construction and post-construction evaluation.
Our projects include: major highway infrastructure and sustainable transport schemes; market town renewal; commercial properties etc - all at varying stages of development. Tight financial controls and robust programme management are essential so, to be successful, you will need to demonstrate a number of core skills, experience and talent to ensure successful programme delivery. These will be rewarded by a good salary and benefits package in return for a challenging, rewarding workload.
