Otis London, 96 Great Suffolk Street, Southwark, seeks an NVQ Level 4 qualified Tester / Technician to join the Major Projects New Equipment Installation Team. You will ensure that new lift, escalator and travelator installations are fully tested and compliant, providing technical support on site.

Responsibilities include testing multi-unit sites with complex interfaces (Compass, EMS), training new Field Test Engineers, auditing EN81 handover paperwork, and supporting bids with technical input.

Qualifications

• NVQ4 or equivalent qualification in lift testing.
• Good knowledge of EN81 Part 2 and related lift codes.
• IT literate with MS Excel and MS Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Test and commission complex multi-unit sites with interfaces like Compass and EMS.
• Provide on-site technical support to other testers and train new engineers.
• Audit EN81 compliance handover paperwork and assist with bids.
• Support quality readings and seamless handover from New Equipment to Service.
