Overview

Major Projects Construction Manager (Lift Modernisations & New Installations) – Streatham, South London. Full Time | £60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus (Year 2 Onwards). Commutable from: Streatham, Brixton, Battersea, Wimbledon, Beckenham, Bromley, Croydon, Mitcham, Fulham, Chelsea, Kensington.

Take full ownership of major lift projects from tender to completion. REClifts is recruiting for a large independent lift engineering company with a multimillion-pound pipeline of major lift modernisation and new installation projects kicking off in 2026. This is a high-impact, cradle-to-grave role for a technically strong professional ready to manage full project lifecycles—from site surveys and tendering to design coordination and delivery.

Package:

  • Basic Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
  • Commission: Year 1 - None (focus on existing projects); Year 2+ - structured bonus based on new business conversion
  • Car: £6,000 car allowance or company vehicle
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, hybrid working
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys (lift shafts, control panels, ropes, gears, cars)
  • Lead tendering and pricing for modernisation and installation projects
  • Manage client relationships and act as primary point of contact
  • Liaise with internal design, sales, and project delivery teams
  • Oversee project execution ensuring time, budget & quality targets
  • Ensure CDM, health & safety, and industry compliance
Ideal Candidate
  • Ex-lift installation or modernisation engineer
  • Experienced in full lifecycle project delivery
  • Strong surveying and technical diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable managing clients and coordinating teams
  • Full UK driving licence
