Liverpool City Council is seeking a Major Events Volunteer and Workforce Manager to lead the development and delivery of the city’s major event volunteer programme. You will recruit, train and support a skilled workforce reflecting Liverpool’s diversity and welcoming spirit.

Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating volunteer and workforce programmes across a portfolio of events, building partnerships with stakeholders and evaluating impact to create a lasting volunteering legacy

• Experience in leading volunteer and workforce programmes.
• Ability to build inclusive volunteering opportunities.
• Strong leadership and relationship-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leading planning, coordination and delivery of volunteer and workforce programmes across major events.
• Developing inclusive volunteering opportunities engaging residents and diverse audiences.
• Overseeing recruitment, training, deployment and welfare of volunteers; engaging partners and stakeholders.
• Building partnerships with event organisers, education providers and community organisations.
