Job summary

A leading loss adjusting practice is seeking a highly competent Major Loss Adjuster to strengthen its South American operations in Bogota. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate is preferably A/FCILA qualified with experience in UK major loss work. A competitive salary of up to £80,000 with a potential bonus and benefits, including a car and private medical care, is offered.

Job Profile

  • Our client is a leading loss adjusting practice seeking to strengthen its South American operations by appointing a highly competent Major Loss Adjuster.
  • You will work alongside the ex-pat Senior Technical Adjuster in Bogota, handling a diverse range of challenging property, BI, construction, power, and energy losses within Colombia and across Central and South America.
  • This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload in a supportive environment where technical guidance is provided, as our client is market-leading.
  • The position is suitable for individuals of single or married status without school-aged children, preferably A/FCILA qualified, with experience in UK major loss work.
  • While proficiency in Spanish is not required initially, the candidate should aim to develop linguistic skills within 12 months, with the company providing support during this period.

The salary is likely up to £80,000 plus an annual bonus of approximately £20,000, along with a car, pension, private medical care, and 25 days holiday.
