Maintenance Worker Required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- General Maintenance: perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Repairs: handle necessary repairs, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
- Emergency Response: respond to urgent maintenance issues, such as leaks or equipment failures, to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Installation: install appliances and equipment, ensuring compliance with local and state building codes.
- Inventory Management: maintain an inventory of repair supplies and equipment, ordering new materials as needed.
- Safety Compliance: adhere to safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to identify potential issues and ensure high-quality work.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose problems and develop effective solutions quickly.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
