To safely supervise a team and manage materials effectively to maintain green infrastructure on time and to the highest standard to ensure our living walls thrive. The role involves you representing the company at our customer premises to complete this maintenance work and demonstrate the company values while doing so.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Hours of work: 07:00 – 16:00 with 1 hour break

Salary: Starting from £32k depending on qualifications.

Location: Customer premises around South England, so being based around south in one of these areas is essential:

• Luton (ideal)
• East to West Oxford – to Maidstone
• North South – Portsmouth – Cambridge
• London

Responsibilities

• To maintain green infrastructure on site according to design and to the highest standard.
• Ensure the safety of the maintenance team at all times, to include staff as well as temporary labour and others on site.
• Ensure that jobs are completed in the time allocated identifying issues which prevent on time delivery, make proposals to rectify and escalate as appropriate.
• Ensure no short falls in materials.
• Ensure no return visits to site by the team are required by ensuring maintenance meet requirements and are delivered to the highest standard.
• Provide technical guidance and advice to the team to ensure standards are met with regard to maintenance and provide training as appropriate.
• To be a team player and demonstrate the company values in everything that you do.
• To build strong working relationships with clients.

Key Performance Indicators

• Completion of jobs in the time allocated.
• Inspection score of 7 or higher on average over all jobs.
• No “significant snags” recorded against the job.
• All forms and records are completed.
• No complaints from clients.
• Qualifications: CSCS
• Location: Within 1 hour driving distance of central London

Experience:

• 3+years in the landscape or horticultural industries
• The ability to read technical plans and drawings
