Job summary

Homes for Students is the UK's leading provider of student accommodation. We have a vacancy for a Maintenance Operative at 33 Parkside, Coventry, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance and the property is kept in good condition. You will report issues promptly and interact with suppliers and contractors to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance in a similar environment.
• Trade-qualified or capable across multiple trades.
• Knowledge of COSHH, manual handling and working at height.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Excellent customer care and communication.
• Organised with the ability to manage workloads.
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the property and ensure statutory compliance is maintained.
• Maintain the condition of the property and report issues promptly and accurately.
• Respond to faults quickly to ensure high-quality service and repairs.
• Liaise with internal and external contacts including suppliers and contractors.
