Job summary

Staffline in Cumbernauld is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join a busy distribution centre. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, manage PPMs, and keep all compliance paperwork up to date.

You will be the first line for maintenance issues on site, escalating to specialists when needed. The role offers a salary of £39,111.36 (including standby) plus 5% SLA, with Monday to Friday 10am-6pm and on call every second week.

Qualifications

GCSE/Standard Grade minimum
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance
City & Guilds AM2/2391
3 phase electrics and its applications

Responsibilities

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess requirements for the job and carry out repairs as needed.
Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve timescales and response times.
Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
Follow purchase order process.
Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise on replacements.
Ensure compliance documentation is completed and up to date
