Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance duties involving exterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and minor roofing repairs, among other exterior responsibilities, to ensure communities are properly and safely maintained.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of building systems and prevent deterioration.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Clean and repair fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
  • Maintain cleanliness and landscaping: debris removal, trash disposal, leaf blowing, shrub trimming, winterization, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of general residential maintenance experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented and team player.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with strong follow-up skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
