Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Painting and decorating tasks around the site
2. Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks
3. Complete reactive repair tasks
4. Inspect/repair floors, walls, and doors
5. Inspect/repair free-standing and fitted furniture
6. Inspect/repair doors, windows, and associated furniture
7. Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
8. Undertake tasks as designated by the Facilities Supervisor
9. Maintain records and documentation (Maintenance, Reports, Health & Safety, and Quality)
10. Manage consumable stock, tools, and equipment effectively

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in painting/decorating required
2. Level 2 qualification in painting and decorating
3. Full driving licence
4. Basic knowledge of painting and decorating techniques
5. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
