Job description

What will I be doing as a Maintenance Technician?

You’ll use your skills to maintain electrical and diagnostic equipment, making sure health and safety are the priority. To ensure maximum availability of equipment, you will run a preventative maintenance and cleaning program while ensuring that best practices are applied.

What are the requirements?

• You will need a BTEC Level 3, ONC/NVQ (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH) is desirable but not essential.
• You have worked in a maintenance role in a similar operation and dealt with continuous production. You will have a deep understanding of equipment such as motors and conveyor systems and experience with welding and hydraulics.
• No minimum years of experience; we are looking for hardworking and team-focused individuals.
• You need to be comfortable working under pressure and quick to respond to breakdowns.
• You will be maintaining accurate records and resolving queries whenever required.
