Maintenance Technician


Temporary to Permanent

My client is an exciting build-to-rent company offering residents luxury city centre living. Their stylish, modern, and spacious apartments feature exceptional amenities, providing a safe and comfortable environment amidst city life. The team ensures a stress-free lifestyle for residents.

Working alongside the Community Manager and site team, you will ensure high standards are maintained, buildings are properly maintained, and customer service is excellent. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a customer-first approach, and proven experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities include:
• Performing planned and reactive maintenance in communal areas and apartments.
• Testing fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Reporting issues requiring professional attention.
• Monitoring and assisting third-party contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Addressing safety risks.
• Assisting with apartment turnovers, including check-outs and scheduling.
• Painting, decorating, lock fitting, door and window repairs.
• Furniture repair and installation.
• Minor plumbing works.
• Communicating with residents to address requests efficiently.

Requirements include:
• Experience in residential property maintenance or similar.
• Knowledge of health and safety, risk assessment, and facilities management.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, joinery, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English, written and oral.
