Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for its luxury care and nursing home in Highgate. You will maintain, repair and improve the home, handling maintenance requests and advising on preventative measures.

You’ll perform PAT testing and ensure records are accurate, all within health and safety guidelines to minimise resident disruption. Candidates should have CSCS certification, a full driving licence, and basic IT skills, with training in manual handling, asbestos

Qualifications

• CSCS certificate required or preferred.
• Full, clean driving licence required.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Training in manual handling and fire safety is advantageous.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the home to ensure safety and comfort for residents.
• Carry out maintenance requests and preventive maintenance.
• Carry out PAT testing of electrical equipment and keep records updated.
• Adhere to health & safety guidelines and minimize disruption to residents.
