Job summary

Sealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions and maintains production equipment to keep operations safe and efficient. This role focuses on mechanical and electrical maintenance with troubleshooting training provided.

We expect a strong maintenance background and a willingness to learn, with responsibilities spanning preventive and corrective maintenance, repair of machine parts, and documentation of activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years of industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical maintenance experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment.
Associate degree in a related technical field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
Repairing and replacing machine parts such as belts, chains, bearings, and gearboxes.
Working with motors, relays, drives, and other electrical components.
Maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
Reading manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
Documenting maintenance and repair activities.
Participating in root cause analysis and safety initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
