Job summary

Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a U.S.-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment. We’re seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform facility upkeep and service industrial equipment at our Malvern site.

The role involves preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and working with cranes, hoists, and forklifts as required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of 5S/Lean.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial maintenance or facility maintenance.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical trades training.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to identify issues and repairs that are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility and building maintenance including plumbing, mechanical, preventive repairs.
• Service industrial equipment such as welding robots, hoists, cranes, paint booths.
• Follow lock-out and tag-out procedures for safety.
• Dismantle machinery and replace defective parts.
• Log service work and downtime data.
• Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance.
• Operate cranes and hoists and drive a forklift when certified.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etc.
• Follows lock-out and tag-out procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices
• Dismantle machinery and replace defective parts as needed
• Log all service work performed, recording downtime during repair and accounting for equipment service requests
• Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance
• Drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification
• Operate cranes and hoists.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years of related experience or experience in industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment
• Experience with electrical or mechanical trades training
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment
• Ability to complete company safety training related to electrical safety
• Ability to use of aerial lifts and lift trucks
• Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Ability to identify issues and repairs that are needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance
• Electrical experience.
• HVAC experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience.

The pay range for this position is $18.41 - $28.62/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
