Job summary

Highmark Residential, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Cambridge Cove to maintain the apartment community’s systems and units. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to sustain high standards of property upkeep and resident satisfaction.

The role involves hands-on duties across appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical work, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on-call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community
• Ensures service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Responds to automated service on emergency calls per company policy
• Assists with resident functions
• Participates in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifts and carries up to 45-80 pounds
• Pushes and/or pulls (appliances) using appliance dolly up to 200 pounds
• Moves objects from one floor to another
• Frequently bends/stoops, climbs stairs, kneels, balances, reaches above shoulder height, walks, and twists
• Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech
