Job Description

Join a skilled maintenance team responsible for the baggage handling system at Heathrow T4 with BEUMER Group, a family-owned company within intralogistics. You will be part of the Terminal 4 Maintenance Support Team, handling hotline support, spare parts, and onsite maintenance.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Carrying out repairs and maintenance on the system
  2. Performing electrical and mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting
  3. Completing PPM schedules timely
  4. Dealing with control technical faults
  5. Identifying and rectifying faults, monitoring performance
  6. Performing maintenance on PLC systems
  7. Supporting site-based maintenance colleagues
  8. Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., City and Guilds/NVQ, ONC)
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in sortation/distribution or fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of Emergency Stop and Safety Supervision Systems
Additional Skills and Attributes:
  • Customer-focused with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of self-learning
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office
