Job summary

Haven is seeking a hands-on General Maintenance Technician to maintain our park facilities and ensure a comfortable guest experience. You will handle routine upkeep, perform minor repairs across plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks, and respond promptly to maintenance requests.

You will work within a friendly team, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a well-maintained site that guests love to visit and stay at. Full-time, on-site role at our Hastings park.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting or related trades.
• Holiday home maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team, with good problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and a compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections and maintenance on park facilities (plumbing, carpentry, general upkeep).
• Diagnose problems and carry out prompt repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.
• Conduct routine checks to prevent issues and maintain safety standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners or team with a friendly, professional approach.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality service across the park.
• Keep thorough records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
