Job summary

Todd Hayes Ltd currently seeks a proactive Maintenance engineer for its market leading client based in Shipdham.

The role is hands-on with a 60/40 split between fabrication and mechanical engineering, performing planned and reactive maintenance to keep the animal feeds production plant running efficiently and safely.

You will undertake bearing replacement, welding (MIG and stick), and supervise maintenance staff while ensuring compliance with safety standards and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication of metal work and welding.
• Ability to replace bearings on machinery and plant.
• Strong problem-solving skills under breakdown pressure.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance to ensure plant efficiency.
• Ensure tasks meet Health & Safety, Quality and Feed Safety Standards.
• Replace bearings on machinery and welding where needed.
• Observe and report issues, coordinating with other departments.
