Job summary

Linde AMT UK Limited Swindon is seeking a Night-Shift Multi Skilled Technician with an electrical bias to support facilities maintenance and machinery repair. You will perform general and planned maintenance, fault-finding on electrical systems, and assist production with machinery setups.

• BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with control systems, programmable logic controllers, and process equipment in manufacturing environments.
• Technical, hands-on approach.
• Ability to work in a demanding user environment with drive for change and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general and planned maintenance, ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning.
• Fault finding on electrical systems within the plant, including coating processes, grinding machines, manipulation equipment, ventilation systems.
• Assist production with machinery problems and setups, providing training when appropriate.
• Programming and maintenance of computerized measuring gauges and reprogramming robots for production requirements (training provided).

What you will enjoy doing

• A Multi SkilledTechnician, with electrical bias, is required to work as part of a team ona night shift pattern, to provide skilled support in matters relatingto facilities maintenance and machinery repair
• As a MaintenanceTechnician you will carry out general and planned maintenance, ensuringplant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner
• Youwill also beresponsible for fault finding on electrical systems within the plant toinclude all coating process areas, grinding machines, manipulationequipment, ventilation systems
• Assisting productionwith machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training whenappropriate will be part of your remit
• You will be involved inprogramming and maintenance of the computerized measuring gauges and willreprogram the robot, where necessary, for differing productionrequirements and customer applications (training will be provided)

• To succeed in thisposition you will be fully proficient and experienced inelectro-mechanical repair and installation and have a BTEC/C&G inelectrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
