In the role of Maintenance Technician you will be based at our facility in Enstone, Oxfordshire.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role is essential to contribute to the operation of our facility.

Your Challenge

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and address maintenance issues effectively
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, reduce or mitigate risks to the business due to loss of service
  • Understand when to escalate issues related to safety, site operation and efficiency
  • Develop site specific knowledge to enable to solve operational problems when they arise
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates on job progress and outcomes
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order
  • Support the facilities teams with site events, site reconfigurations and other facilities related tasks



About You

You will have a variety of skills, including:

  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in carpentry, plastering, or decorating
  • Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician, Carpenter, Plasterer, or Decorator
  • A general understanding of manufacturing site/facilities maintenance and associated activities

You’ll be able to work independently and as part of the wider facilities team with a passion for solving problems. You'll have a drive to deliver high quality work and be able to organise yourself, completing tasks and jobs to the required timeframes.

This role requires out of hours engineering cover on a rota basis one week in 4 with the ability to respond in 60 mins
