About the Maintenance Technician Position:

This role involves assisting in the maintenance and repair of the property, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Senior Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager and performs various duties related to property upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Completing standard maintenance tasks within 2 business days.
  • Participating in maintenance projects.
  • Responding to emergency service calls after hours, with a schedule of 2 weeks on call per month.
  • Removing snow and ice during inclement weather using proper tools.
  • Utilizing personal transportation for parts pickup, supplies, and urgent travel.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors, maintaining logs, and reporting issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years of maintenance experience or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
