About Wayland Farms:

Wayland Farms Ltd are an award-winning pig production company who are passionate about breeding and nurturing the best pigs in the country. We form part of the successful Cranswick Plc., one of the largest food producers in Britain.

Job requirements of a Multi-Skilled Technician:

• Repairing / servicing equipment and buildings on company and associated farms including Watton workshops.
• To Maintain and expand the company’s indoor and outdoor pig units, this includes but is not limited to - Brick & Blockwork; Shuttering Carpentry ( first & Second Fix); Groundworks; Plumbing; Welding; Fitting; Basic fabrication; Forklift, Teleporter &Tractor Driving
• Ensure that all vehicles supplied for the use of the sections are kept in roadworthy condition and all damage reported.
What you will need:
• Own transport is required.
• Have experience in Plumbing, and ideally Welding.
• Experience in carpentry is beneficial.
• Holding a Forklift License is beneficial.
• You must be reliable and demonstrate good time keeping.
We appreciate that candidates may not have all of the above skills/experiences and would still encourage you to apply should you obtain any of the above skills.
Shift: 48 Hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternate weekend working.
Pay and benefits:
• Salary – Starting from £30476.16 - £31500.00 dependant on experience
• Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
