  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime of production equipment.
  • Desire to understand equipment performance and learn process requirements.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, with strong math and software systems skills.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit theory.
  • Troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues with limited system documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
  • Ability to operate power tools, forklifts, man-lifts, and work at heights.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

  • 3rd Shift: 11PM - 7:30AM, Sunday PM to Friday AM.
  • Training on 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary

Repair and maintenance of manufacturing machines and support equipment, including inspection, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety rules and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
  • Oversee electrical upgrades and ensure code compliance.
  • Maintain facility safety and cleanliness per company policies.
  • Manage inventory of replacement parts.

Comments/Special Instructions

The role involves minor machinery repairs, preventative maintenance of tools, and minor building repairs. PPE will be provided. Training duration varies based on the candidate's learning pace. Experience with manufacturing repairs, belt-driven machinery, pneumatics, or hydraulics is preferred. This is a temp-to-perm position with overtime available. The initial interview is via phone, followed by an in-person tour and interview. PPE is provided by the company.
