Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Location: Suffolk

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits Package (including an attractive pension scheme)

Shift: Permanent Nights

An established and well-respected FMCG manufacturer based in Suffolk is looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its night shift team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and well-invested site with a strong focus on engineering standards, reliability, and team development.

The Role: You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of fast-paced production and packaging equipment through planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out PPM and breakdown maintenance across production machinery
2. Diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical faults
3. Supporting root cause analysis and reliability improvements
4. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

The Ideal Candidate:

• A truly multi-skilled, level 3 qualified engineer - an electrical qualification would be advantageous
• Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, or similar production environments
• Proactive and capable of working independently on a night shift
