Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Salary: £43,000 + 6,000 callout allowance + Overtime

Hours : Straight Days Monday to Friday

The Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to ensure plant equipment is maintained safely and efficiently. You'll handle both planned and reactive maintenance, support production with breakdowns, and work closely with the maintenance team to drive improvements and optimise performance.

Key Duties:
* Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to food and feed safety standards.
* Respond to breakdowns during shift and on-call, minimising downtime.
* Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment.
* Supervise and work alongside contractors during maintenance and project work.
* Keep all maintenance records up to date in the CMMS system.
* Support Health & Safety activities and Risk Assessments.
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop and spares area.
* Work with the team to identify and deliver plant improvements.

Requirements:
Essential:
* Time-served Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred but not essential).
* At least 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
* Strong electrical knowledge: inverters, sensors, relays, motors, 3-phase & single phase.
* Fault finding on PLCs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation.
* Good understanding of PPM, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
* Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.
Desirable:
* Experience in food production, heavy plant, or chemical processing.
* High voltage experience.
* Experience using CMMS systems.

* Physically fit and comfortable working at height or in challenging environments.
* Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday - Days
Participation in on-call rota required.
