We are currently looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team based at Southampton Docks.We are a 24/7 Port operation and this role will be day and night shifts,working 12 hours at a time. In this role you will repair and maintain a variety of large heavy goods vehicle type assets and we are open to considering people from this industry who may be either mechanically or electrically biased. Working in Automotive industries as a Vehicle Technician/HGV/LGV technician or associated roles would be great experience to hold for this role.
The vital responsibility of the Vehicle Maintenance Technician aids in ensuring the smooth running of terminal operations by maintaining the accessibility and reliability of our mobile equipment. It's an interesting opportunity to work with machinery which includes vehicles of all kinds such as terminal tractors, shuttles, straddle carries and more. In this varied career, no two days are ever the same.
