Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week.

Rotating shifts: 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.

Overview:

Our client is looking for a confident Maintenance Technician with an Electrical Bias to join their established team based at their Skelmersdale site.

Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Responsible for maintenance and repair (both planned and unplanned) on all automatic assembly machines and processes.
  • Ensure maximum operational effectiveness in line with safety, quality, and cost requirements.
  • Assist in new process implementation and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work within a team environment, displaying excellent communication skills and establishing good working relationships across Manufacturing and Maintenance teams.

Essential Requirements as a Maintenance Technician:

  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, with additional skills in secondary areas.
  • Reliable and a good communicator who works well as part of a team.
  • Adaptable to change and flexible to work in all areas of manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated competence in maintenance processes.
  • PLC (Allen Bradley) and Vision (Cognex) skills are desirable.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and highly organized.
  • Commitment to safety and understanding of HASAWA regulations.
  • Knowledge and compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
