Job summary

Theo James Recruitment is supporting an established manufacturing business in North Yorkshire for a Maintenance Technician to back up its engineering team. You will work with automated machinery and PLC-controlled equipment in a busy production environment, diagnosing faults and performing planned and reactive maintenance.

You will join a rotating 12-hour day and night shift pattern on a three-week rolling rota, with no weekend work. A health cash plan and shift transport support are included.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and fault find on automated manufacturing equipment.

The Company:

Theo James Recruitment is supporting an established manufacturing business seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its engineering team.

With automated machinery, PLC-controlled equipment and investment in its facilities, the business offers an opportunity to put your technical skills to work in a busy production environment.

Working Hours:

The Maintenance Technician will work 12-hour day and night shifts on a three-week rolling rota, Monday to Friday.

The supplied pattern comprises ten shifts across three weeks, split equally between days and nights, with no scheduled weekend shifts. Exact start and finish times will be confirmed.

Some annual leave is allocated to fixed shutdown periods, including the summer shutdown.
