Multi-Skilled Technician

Location: Peterborough

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

The Company

Based in Peterborough, you will be joining a well-known innovative manufacturing/engineering service provider with a large UK and international presence. They work with companies across various industries, including oil & gas, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, and more. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with Mechanical and Electrical skills to join their day shift team.

Role Overview

This role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day maintenance of large plant and mobile units. Responsibilities

1. Manage ongoing maintenance of large & small plant and mobile units
2. Lead and execute maintenance projects
3. Work independently and collaboratively with a team of qualified professionals
4. Conduct fault-finding, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems
5. Perform a range of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks: preventative, reactive, and planned

Additional duties may be required beyond this list.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Electrical engineering qualifications such as Electrical Installations Level 3
• Ideally 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ability to work in accordance with engineering health and safety procedures
