POSITION SCOPE
Provide effective maintenance services to all plant and equipment within the refining and packing areas, focusing on improving plant availability and reliability.
Shift: 3-shift rotation
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet or exceed all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental targets.
- Perform plant isolations.
- Maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in Process, Packing, Utilities, and Jetty sections.
- Conduct reactive maintenance as needed based on plant priorities.
- Follow maintenance plans and schedules.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily/weekly workloads with the Area Maintenance Leader, including Preventative, Predictive, and improvement activities.
- Arrange plant insurance inspections and liaise with inspectors.
- Complete plant improvement projects as time permits.
- Supervise maintenance activities, utilizing on-site resources and contractors for repairs, servicing, and projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, managing RAMS and PTW procedures.
- Oversee cleaning resources to maintain plant hygiene.
- Manage SAP maintenance system for budgeting, trend analysis, reliability, and inventory control.
- Provide high-tension (HT) electrical coverage if trained and qualified.
- Conduct RCA on component failures and implement modifications to improve reliability and performance.
- Estimate costs for improvement projects and prepare capital requests.
- Participate in all phases of capital projects, including installation and commissioning.
- Engage with suppliers, conduct audits, and visit supplier facilities when needed.
- Mentor and train staff on engineering practices and maintenance issues.
- Enhance plant reliability, measured by uptime, OEE, and opportunity losses.
- Meet specific KPIs related to job performance.
- Perform lift release duties as required.
- Participate in Fire Auxiliary team activities as needed.
- Maintain self-motivation and pursue ongoing personal development.

ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES
- Experience in maintenance within an automated continuous process environment, including PLC and/or HT systems.
- Knowledge of Predictive and Preventative maintenance techniques.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably an HNC/NVQ 4 in an engineering discipline, or at least a BTEC/ONC in a relevant field.
