Purpose of Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer / Electrician to join our team, supporting our Transport for London (TfL) contract across Central London.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and reliable individual to deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of London Underground sites.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out small electrical installations and repairs (hand dryers, water heaters, sockets, light fittings)
2. Deliver a comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance service
3. Conduct PPM tasks such as emergency lighting tests, clamp testing, L8 checks, fabric inspections, and more
4. Perform non-electrical reactive work, including lock replacements, door closer repairs, and service isolations
5. Engage directly with stakeholders, providing fault diagnostics and clear communication
6. Work across multiple sites in Central London via company van and/or TfL public transport
7. Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rota (attractive enhanced pay rates apply)

Essential Qualifications/Skills

1. Level 2 (minimum) qualification in electrical engineering, ideally Level 3
2. Proven building maintenance PPM experience
3. Experience in both domestic and commercial properties
4. Availability to be on call 1 in 5, with call-outs up to midnight paid at time and a half; Sundays, bank holidays, and after midnight paid at double time
5. Solid Health & Safety awareness
6. No more than 6 points on UK driving licence
