The Chancery Rosewood, opening in Summer 2025, is a Rosewood Hotel Group property housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a variety of dining and entertainment spaces, providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

We are looking for a General Technician to help maintain the smooth operation of the hotel's facilities. This role involves keeping all technical systems and equipment in top condition, working across multiple disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and decorating, while responding to guest requests and supporting the wider hotel team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out general maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and decorating with a hands-on approach.
2. Troubleshoot and repair issues, identifying and fixing minor faults to ensure smooth daily operations.
3. Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance checks to address potential problems before they arise.
4. Respond swiftly to breakdowns, providing a fast and professional response to guest requests and urgent maintenance needs.
5. Maintain clear records by logging maintenance work accurately and reporting issues requiring further attention.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, maintaining a safe and well-maintained hotel environment.
7. Protect hotel assets by safeguarding equipment, tools, and resources while upholding company standards.
8. Support other departments, ensuring smooth communication and teamwork.

• You are technically skilled with a solid understanding of hotel engineering systems and building maintenance.
• You are a natural problem-solver, able to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective repairs.
• You are independent and efficient, managing your workload well and taking initiative during shifts.
