Qualifications

  • Experience in maintaining electrical / mechanical plant, particularly packaging and process equipment.
  • Experience in maintaining electrical control panels, including a/c inverters and PLC control systems.
  • Experience of working within an ISO quality system regulated environment.

Apply now for the position of Maintenance Technician, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring our IMMULITE manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency, ensuring the reliable production of diagnostic solutions that directly impact patient care and the success of our mission.

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday. The hours of work are 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 rotating weekly.

Your Role:
  • You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • You will diagnose electrical/mechanical/pneumatic issues using the correct troubleshooting techniques and investigate the true root cause following the repair to prevent reoccurrence.
  • You will collaborate with production teams and maintenance systems coordinator to prioritize maintenance tasks and address equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • You will document all maintenance activities in line with our GDP guidelines and through the CMMS system.
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying reoccurring problems and suggesting/implementing solutions.
  • You will adhere to safety protocols and always ensure compliance with EHS procedures.
Your Expertise:
  • Minimum of a Level 3/ONC in Electrical/Mechanical/General Engineering
  • Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Experience in maintaining electrical / mechanical plant and equipment, particularly packaging and process equipment
  • Experience in maintaining electrical control panels, including a/c inverters and PLC control systems
  • Experience with pneumatic systems and equipment
  • Experience of working within an ISO quality system regulated environment and an understanding of GMP would be advantageous.
