Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Technician in Horwich, England, to support the automotive supply chain. The role focuses on the maintenance of high-volume PLC controlled production equipment and involvement in the installation of new lines on-site, including a clean-room environment.

You will work a rotating shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00) with a salary circa £45,000 depending on experience, along with a benefits package and career development

Qualifications

• Ideally qualifications in Electrical Engineering to back up your experience.
• Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Significant experience within manufacturing.
• Proven experience on Repair, Maintenance and Process Improvement.
• Ideally experienced in maintenance and fault finding PLC controlled and robotic equipment.
• Experience of maintaining and fault finding hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Pro-actively identifies and suggests improvements based on findings of preventative maintenance and fault finding.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance schedules.

• Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of high-volume PLC controlled production equipment.
• Planning and performing equipment preventative maintenance.
• Improvement and modification of assembly/ test equipment and transfer systems.
• Service and maintenance of electrical and mechanical site services/plant.
