Job description

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team.

This role will involve general repairs and planned maintenance to the site and equipment. A background in building services or facilities, with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or refrigeration, would be beneficial.

The role suits someone from a similar fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Occasional call-outs and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the RSC Maintenance Engineer with general maintenance and repairs throughout the Regional Service Centre (RSC), ensuring minimal downtime and a high-quality environment for staff and visitors. This includes working at weekends when necessary to avoid operational impact.
2. Ensure the RSC meets legal compliance for maintenance.
3. Maintain maintenance records related to building and equipment maintenance at the RSC, ensuring they are orderly.
4. Manage third-party service contracts effectively.
5. Provide support to other RSCs as required.

Essential Experience:

• Full driving license
• Practical experience in a trade relevant to building maintenance
• Competent in basic electrical skills
• Experience managing contractors/service providers
• Good knowledge of building services
• Experience working to H&S standards

• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
