About the role

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team.

This role involves general repairs and planned maintenance to the site and equipment. A background in building services or facilities management, with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or refrigeration, would be beneficial.

The role suits someone experienced in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Occasional call-outs and weekend work may be required.

You will be responsible for

• Supporting the RSC Maintenance Engineer with maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime and maintaining a high-quality environment for staff and visitors, including working weekends when needed.
• Ensuring legal compliance for maintenance activities at the RSC.
• Maintaining records of building and equipment maintenance accurately.
• Managing third-party service contracts effectively.
• Providing support to other RSCs as required.

You will need

Essential Experience

• A full driving licence.
• Practical experience relevant to building maintenance.
• Competence in basic electrical skills.
• Experience managing contractors/service providers.
• Good knowledge of building services.
• Experience working to H&S standards.
