SUMMARY

Assist in tasks to keep packing shed, and equipment operating at maximum efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair and maintain production equipment
• Complete checklists and maintenance logs
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Identify and correct safety issues
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
• Understand machine operation:
• Identify machine inefficiencies and report or repair them
• Visually inspect equipment for wear and suggest solutions
• Communicate with Production staff to determine optimal repair times
• Respond promptly to repair calls from all departments
• Skills required include the ability to read, write, perform basic math, and basic mechanical skills

• Useful skills may include electrical, welding, manual machining, pneumatics, automation, and fabrication
