  2. Access to hundreds of online perks & discounts.
  3. Free health cashback plan for you and your family.

Is this Maintenance Technician role right for me?

Are you someone who loves solving problems, fixing things, and keeping everything running like clockwork? If so, we’d love you to join our friendly team as a Maintenance Technician at Richmond Hill Hotel!

Here at Richmond Hill Hotel, we don’t just maintain a building – we create memorable experiences. As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a key part of what makes our hotel a welcoming and well-run place for both guests and team members. Whether it’s getting the heating just right on a chilly day or swiftly fixing a flickering light before a big event, your work helps shape the guest experience. You’re the behind-the-scenes hero who helps keep the magic going.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Carrying out daily maintenance tasks and routine checks across the hotel, including bedrooms, public areas, and team member spaces.
  2. Responding promptly to maintenance requests reported by team members or guests – no two days are ever the same!
  3. Supporting preventative maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and keep everything running smoothly.
  4. Getting hands-on with plumbing, basic electrics, decorating, and general DIY duties.
  5. Working safely and responsibly, always keeping health & safety top of mind.
  6. Helping with emergency procedures, such as fire alarm tests and building checks.
  7. Liaising with contractors when needed and making sure work is up to standard.
  8. Being a visible, approachable member of the team who takes pride in every job, big or small.

What we’re looking for…

  1. A hunger for hospitality and going the extra mile.
  2. Someone that is willing to bring their best, authentic self to work. Rather than reading from a script or putting on a persona, our approach is all about bringing the very best version of ourselves to work every day.
  3. A creative approach to your role – we believe that a game-changing idea can come from anyone, anytime.
  4. Someone who thrives in a dynamic and vibrant environment and is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.

If this sounds like a role you could get excited about, we would love to hear from you!
