Overview

Maintenance Technician – Daytona Milton Keynes is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Location: Daytona Milton Keynes, MK13 8NP

Hours: 40hrs per week - Applicants be available to work evenings & weekends

Salary: £competitive

Responsibilities
  • To carry out general venue maintenance and assist in making sure the site is in good condition at all times. You will assist the venue managers to oversee outside contractors working within the venue and assist in ensuring the venue and work carried out is in line with company policy/ guidelines.
  • To have awareness and assist with all matters relating to the maintenance of the venue
  • To actively deal with the decoration, electrical and general maintenance issues within the venue and work with venue management on all other works.
  • Assist with ensuring works carried out meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health & safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Have full awareness of the Company's customer care goals and to use their best endeavours to ensure they are implemented through their own actions and attitude
  • To be responsible for the operation of the stock system
  • To ensure that all paper work is processed in accordance with the correct procedures and completed neatly and accurately to ensure that due diligence practices are complied with.
  • To ensure that all equipment and machinery provided for your use is used as per the manufacturer's instructions; with the appropriate safety clothing/protection
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Wide range of experience coming from a single trade background with an understanding of other areas or a general building / maintenance background.
  • Basic “House” electrical experience, general decorating and problem solving.
  • Must have some level of certification or “time served” history for the key skills.
  • Must be able to understand the importance of correct maintenance and the increasing need to ensure this is correctly recorded.
  • A basic concept of stock and budget control will be required.
