Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a part-time Maintenance Technician to work within its Estates Department. The team works across all campus locations carrying out a varied range of reactive tasks and minor works to ensure students and staff have a safe and pleasant learning and working environment.

This key post provides great variety of learning opportunities to enhance their skill as well as joining a great team maintaining key services for the College.

Formación

• Experience of working in a team.
• Experience of Maintenance type environment or similar.
• M&E - Mechanical and Electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work on their own initiative.
• Higher/ Advanced Highers and Vocational Qualifications in relevant subjects.
• Experience of a range of working environments/ placements.
• Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out reactive maintenance tasks across campus locations.
• Undertake minor works to maintain learning and working environments.
• Collaborate with Estates team to deliver services.

Enthusiasm and an ability to learn quickly whilst maintaining a progressional approach are essential for this role.
