Job summary

A manufacturing company in Cardiff is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and repair machinery. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical bias and experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics. Qualifications

• A few years experience working within maintenance with a mechanical bias.
• Experience working on machinery such as pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of manufacturing machinery including services.
• Conducting repairs and troubleshooting faults.
• Assisting with PPM.
• Assisting with new installations.
• Keeping to health and safety standards.
• Documenting any repairs made to machinery.
• Working on pneumatic and hydraulics.

Skills

Experienced Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Mechanically biased

Experience maintaining and servicing machinery

Pneumatics and/or hydraulics experience

Strong repairs knowledge including some fault finding

Any pipework / pipes / plumbing experience would be a bonus
