Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO: General Manager
Part-Time

General Summary: Oversees all mechanical areas of the club facility and the grounds to keep the club functioning at top efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Maintains an ongoing energy management program for the property's HVAC and lighting systems.
  2. Effectively maintain all building structures and the equipment in them on a preventative and curative basis.
  3. Ability to perform plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and flooring installation.
  4. Possess exceptional organizational skills to manage and complete multiple responsibilities and tasks.
  5. Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  6. Possess the ability to communicate with fellow team members in a personable, respectable, and professional manner.
  7. Schedule work orders for all areas of the club and its equipment.
  8. Coordinates purchasing for parts and items needed for maintenance and general upkeep.
  9. Takes corrective action as needed.
  10. Attends staff meetings and coordinates efforts to schedule work activities.
  11. Oversees daily water checks on swimming pool water and filtering systems for positive health protection.
  12. Works with General Contractors and coordinates remodeling of various areas of the club.
  13. Inspect fire protection systems for proper operation and training personnel in their use.
  14. Design, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all major mechanical items.
  15. Maintain a computerized log for all equipment repairs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  1. HVAC Knowledge

  6. Swimming Pool Filtering System Knowledge
  7. Computer Knowledge

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Seeing
  2. Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers
  3. Standing/Walking
  4. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling
  5. Lifting/Pulling/Pushing
  6. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to use tools necessary to complete repairs and adjustments.
