Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Aberdare
Salary: £35,00 to £42,000 per annum + £8,582 shift allowance
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (for 3 weeks), followed by 12 days off

We’re currently recruiting for Maintenance Technicians to join a leading production facility based in the Aberdare area. This role offers long-term career growth, a highly attractive shift pattern, and the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment that values training and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical or electrical faults quickly and effectively
  • Supporting process improvements to maximise equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Working collaboratively with the engineering and production teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering technician role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Mechanical and/or electrical skills (multi-skilled experience desirable)
  • Engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Willingness to learn and develop—opportunities available for less experienced applicants with the right attitude and potential
