Job Overview
The Engineer performs interior and external preventative maintenance and basic repairs in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. Responds to engineering service calls. Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Physical work is a primary part of many hotel and resort jobs. Requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50-100 lbs. Some work is performed in interior hotel environments with exposure to equipment and machinery. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. Safety precautions and protective equipment are required to mitigate risks.
