Job Opportunity: Maintenance Person

Location: The Hoste Arms Hotel, Burnham Market, Norfolk

Hours: 16 hours per week

Schedule: 2–3 days per week (including every other weekend)

Shift Time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

The Role:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our hotel, ensuring that our buildings, rooms, and facilities are kept in top condition for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across the hotel

Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other ad-hoc repairs

Responding to and resolving maintenance issues promptly

Ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to

Liaising with external contractors when needed

Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role preferred

A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work on a rota, including every other weekend

Good communication and organisational skills
