You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the property's facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake and manage various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, telecommunications, heating, carpentry, and decorating.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, handling basic repairs and maintenance requirements.
- Inspect building structures, equipment, and assets, performing reactive and preventive maintenance.
- Perform tasks and deliver services with the highest level of discretion, aiming for minimal disruption to guests and visitors.
- Actively seek to contribute to guest and visitor comfort.
- Remain proactive and approach tasks and requests with a can-do attitude.
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance; coordinate and oversee contractors and external providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and procedures.
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, appliances, and systems.
- Maintain and replace heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems as required.
- Liaise with and supervise contractors and external providers for work activities.
- Assist in record-keeping and maintain a daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.
- Respect Accor's Legionnaires' disease directive.
- Apply the hotel's security regulations (e.g., fire safety).
- Champion the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (energy saving, recycling, waste sorting).
- Contribute actively to the safety of people and property, ensuring safety exits remain unobstructed.
- Identify areas for improvement within the scope of operations, including risk awareness.
- Undertake training to develop increased expertise in relevant areas.
- Report stock levels.
Additional Tasks:
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on the property's facilities and equipment.
- Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective actions.
- Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful manner.
Qualifications:
- Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
