RBH Hospitality Management is hiring a Maintenance Team Member to carry out repairs and preventative maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities. You will respond quickly to maintenance requests and help keep equipment and building systems safe and reliable.

You will work closely with hotel teams, perform basic trades such as plumbing, electrical and decorating tasks, maintain records, and follow health and safety procedures to ensure a welcoming guest experience.

Formación

• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, engineering, or similar hands-on role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical work, decorating, or general repairs.
• A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a wider hotel team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
• A commitment to delivering a safe, well-maintained environment that enhances the guest experience.

Responsabilidades

• Help maintain our hotel’s high standards by carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently to minimise disruption and deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Carry out routine inspections of equipment, plant rooms, and hotel facilities, identifying and reporting any faults or potential hazards.
• Support the delivery of the preventative maintenance programme, helping to keep equipment and building systems operating safely and effectively.
• Work closely with colleagues across all departments to address maintenance requirements and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks across a range of disciplines including plumbing, electrical, decorating, carpentry, and general building upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any issues requiring specialist attention or further action.
• Follow all health & safety procedures, contributing to a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike.
