As a Maintenance Team Leader, you'll be expected to:

  1. Liaise and be a point of contact with all departments and external contractors for maintenance needs at Llanarth Court as and when required.
  2. Ensure all maintenance work is carried out by collating, recording, and distributing all maintenance request forms to appropriate maintenance staff.
  3. Keep the maintenance manager updated with day-to-day operations within the department and servicing issues with external contractors.

The Maintenance Team Leader will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, on a set shift pattern every two weeks, from 07:00 to 19:00.

Shift pattern:

  • Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

We are seeking a motivated, skilled individual with experience in maintenance, preferably within a similar environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess good people skills.

The role holder will also be expected to undertake on-call duties for the maintenance department.

Llanarth Court Hospital is a 95-bed forensic hospital providing a secure environment with medium, low, and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorder.
